Celia is an Affiliate Partner of ValeoVox, Inc and Principal of D&A Communications, a marketing communications and public relations firm specializing in the creation and execution of comprehensive strategic communications programs.
Ms. Doremus has over 20 years of experience working with organizations across industry segments including professional services, healthcare, environmental health and safety, economic development, academia, and many non-profit organizations. She has a deep understanding of the challenges that companies and organizations face on a daily basis to be successful in a competitive business environment. She has comprehensive expertise in content branding; strategic plan development and execution; tactical implementation; creating and managing local, national and international publicity campaigns; issues and crisis management; writing; website content development and special event planning.
Her previous experience includes 11 years with the international management consulting firm, Arthur D. Little, Inc., of Cambridge, Ma, where she served as Manager of Marketing Communications. Ms. Doremus was a senior account manager at Trinity Communications, Inc., in Boston, MA and Senior Account Executive of Jaffe Associates, Inc., a Public Relations firm in Washington, D.C.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Doremus served as a Regional Bureau Staff Reporter and Writer for United Press International in Boston, Massachusetts.
Ms. Doremus holds a Masters of Education from the University of Georgia, Atlanta and Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Georgia, Athens. She successfully completed the Executive Program in Business to Business Marketing Strategy at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management of Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois.
Ms. Doremus is a graduate of the Outward Bound School, Hurricane Island, Maine. She is an active member of a number of organizations including the Public Relations Society of America, the Boston Chamber of Commerce and the National Audubon Society.
